Ambition is partnering with a leading global law firm to appoint an Associate Director, Business Development supporting its market-leading Project Development & Finance practice.

This is a senior strategic role for an experienced legal BD professional looking to work alongside leading partners on complex infrastructure, energy, and project finance matters across a global platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the business development strategy for the Project Development & Finance practice.
  • Drive client engagement, account planning, and growth initiatives across key clients and sectors.
  • Deliver market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations to support practice growth.
  • Lead major pitches, proposals, and client development opportunities.
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams on thought leadership and profile-raising campaigns.
  • Collaborate across practices, industry groups, and global BD teams to deliver integrated growth strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, supporting strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement across BD processes and initiatives.
