BD Manager (Tech & Data Privacy)

We are partnered with a leading international law firm in its search for a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support its Data Privacy & Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practices. You will play a key role in driving strategic growth initiatives, working closely with partners and colleagues across a global platform.

This is a highly visible and varied role, combining strategic business development, client relationship management, and integrated marketing activity. You will collaborate across offices and functions to deliver innovative, high-impact campaigns and initiatives that enhance the firm's market presence and deepen client engagement.

We are keen to speak with individuals with Business Development and Marketing experience within a law firm or professional services environment. Prior exposure to technology, data privacy, or wider TMT sectors will be advantageous.

We are open to candidates stepping into a Manager role as well as those with existing experience looking to broaden their remit within a global, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and deliver strategic business development initiatives across Data Privacy and TMT, aligning with practice and firmwide growth objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns and projects, driving innovation and collaboration across teams
  • Oversee complex pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including strategy development, content creation, and partner preparation
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing and thought leadership campaigns to enhance the firm's visibility in key markets
  • Work closely with partners to identify client opportunities, support cross-selling, and strengthen key relationships
  • Collaborate with global BD and sector teams to support priority client accounts and ensure alignment with broader client strategies
  • Lead directory and award submissions, ensuring strong and strategic market positioning
  • Plan and execute events, sponsorships, and conferences to drive client engagement and measurable return on investment
  • Track BD activity, pipeline, and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team culture
