Business Development Manager - Sports, Media & Entertainment

We have partnered on a truly global sector role, working with an established team based in the US and Europe, being the BD and Marketing lead for an innovative and exciting group; sports, media and entertainment.

The role is split quite evenly amongst the 3 groups, we don't require individuals to have worked in this sector before and would encourage legal business development professionals who have a keen interest in this sector to apply, as these roles don't come up that frequently. You will also be working directly with the Global Head, for a firm that has a great history of offering mid-long term professional development and career progression.

Core duties included in the role:

• Take on the responsibilities of being the BD lead for the group, working with the Head of BD to put together and deliver the marketing and business development plan for the sector. This will include being involved with budgeting and working closely with the sector leadership based in the US and Europe.
• Create and implement thought leadership and marketing campaigns for the group to raise the firms brand and reputation in targeted markets. You will also have the support of centralized communications function for this too.
• Support the leadership team on client relationship efforts, continuing to help build upon existing relationships and monitoring the market through research for potential new clients and overall market trends.
• Work with the leadership group on a variety of sponsorship and events opportunities across the sports, media and entertainment area.
