Business Development Specialist

A leading global law firm operating at the intersection of technology, capital, and regulation is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its global Marketing and Business Development team. The firm advises a diverse client base ranging from high-growth companies to some of the world's largest public and private organizations and is known for its collaborative culture and market-leading practices.

This role supports strategic growth initiatives across assigned practice groups and works closely with lawyers and senior business development leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with lawyers in assigned practices to execute business development plans, initiatives, and client development activities
  • Create, customize, and maintain high-quality pitch documents, proposals, directory submissions, and other marketing materials tailored to specific audiences
  • Monitor business, legal, and geopolitical developments to identify potential opportunities for individual partners and practice groups
  • Support business development efforts related to the onboarding and integration of lateral partners
  • Coordinate and support client events, webinars, and other thought leadership initiatives, including execution and follow-up
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the global marketing and business development platform to ensure alignment and best practices
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Provide additional marketing and business development support as needed to advance firm and practice objectives

For candidates based in New York, the anticipated compensation range for this position is approximately $85,000 to $125,000, with final offers determined by experience, qualifications, and role level.
