Business Development Supervisor/Manager - Healthcare & Sciences

I'm excited to be representing a prestigious global law firm in the search for a Business Development Manager to support its renowned Healthcare & Life Sciences practice.

As innovation, regulation, and investment continue to reshape the healthcare and life sciences landscape, the firm is looking for a talented business development professional to help capitalize on new market opportunities and strengthen relationships with some of the sector's most significant clients. This role offers a unique blend of strategic influence and hands-on execution, providing the successful candidate with direct exposure to senior partners, high-profile client initiatives, and some of the firm's most important growth priorities.

The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to the practice, helping to drive business development strategy, elevate market profile, support key pursuits, and deliver innovative campaigns that enhance the firm's presence across the healthcare and life sciences sector.

Core Responsibilities:

• Partner with lawyers and practice leadership to execute strategic business development initiatives, drive cross-selling opportunities, support business planning efforts, and identify new avenues for practice growth.
• Lead the development of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations, ensuring compelling and commercially focused content that supports successful business outcomes.
• Conduct market, client, competitor, and industry intelligence research to uncover trends, support strategic decision-making, and strengthen the practice's market position.
• Develop and deliver profile-raising initiatives, including thought leadership campaigns, legal directory submissions, awards programs, public relations activities, and targeted content marketing efforts.
• Manage and support client events, conferences, sponsorships, and networking opportunities while collaborating with colleagues across marketing, communications, and business development to maximize engagement and return on investment.
