Pitch & Directories Manager

I'm exclusively partnering with one of the most prestigious global law firms on their hunt to add a talented and experienced Pitches & Pursuits Manager to their growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced proposals and pursuits professional to take on a highly visible role, working closely with partners and senior business development leaders across a range of complex, high-value opportunities. You'll play a critical role in helping the firm secure new business through strategic, client-focused pitch and proposal efforts, while also leading key legal directory submissions that strengthen the firm's market profile and competitive positioning.

I'd love to connect with professionals who have a strong background in legal or professional services proposals, pursuits, and pitch management. Experience leading complex RFPs, mentoring junior team members, developing compelling pursuit strategies, and collaborating with senior stakeholders is highly beneficial. This role would suit someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking, project management, and persuasive writing to drive tangible business results.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of complex pitches, proposals, and RFP responses across a broad range of regulatory practice areas, ensuring all submissions are client-focused, compliant, and delivered to the highest standard.
• Partner closely with lawyers, business development professionals, pricing teams, and other stakeholders to develop winning pursuit strategies, articulate compelling value propositions, and position the firm effectively in competitive opportunities.
• Leverage client intelligence, competitive research, market insights, and pursuit trends to enhance proposal quality, identify growth opportunities, and support informed business development decision-making.
• Oversee the maintenance of pitch content, experience databases, and legal directory submissions, while mentoring junior team members, sharing best practices, and driving continuous improvement across proposal and pursuit processes.
