Proposal Manager

I'm partnering with a leading global law firm on their search for a Proposals Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced proposals professional to step into a highly visible role, partnering directly with senior stakeholders on some of the firm's most strategic and high-value pursuits. You'll play a key role in shaping proposal strategy, leading complex pitches and helping to drive business growth through compelling, client-focused submissions that showcase the firm's expertise and competitive strengths.

I'd love to engage with professionals who have a strong background in Legal or Professional Services Proposals and Pitches, ideally with experience managing complex RFPs, panel tenders, and multi-practice or multi-jurisdictional pursuits. If you enjoy influencing senior stakeholders, developing winning pitch strategies, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two opportunities are the same, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead strategic panel pitches and complex proposal opportunities from initial qualification through to submission and presentation, ensuring a high-quality and client-focused approach throughout.

  • Build strong relationships with partners, lawyers, and business development colleagues to shape pursuit strategies, coordinate resources, and create compelling proposals that differentiate the firm in competitive situations.

  • Leverage client research, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and commercial insight to develop tailored proposal strategies and persuasive messaging that aligns with client needs and priorities.

  • Lead and coordinate the development of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and presentation materials, while promoting best practices, improving processes, and analysing performance metrics to enhance future win rates.

I feel the current salary range is competitive within the market; however, if you are looking for something above this range, I'm open to discussing it further.

If this role sounds interesting to you, please directly apply or approach Sean Sweeney for more information.
