Associate Business Development Director

Ambition are excited to be supporting a global law firm with the recruitment for an Associate Director to lead the BD and Marketing efforts for their capital markets group. This role will form an essential part of the BD team and lead a market leading group of lawyers.

You will be working to drive the marketing strategy across the Capital markets group, playing a strategic role in delivering and defining the marketing and business plans. Within the role you will also have a team to support you on this.

Please see below some of the core duties;

  • Working with the Corporate BD Director and US leadership team act in a key advisory capacity to deliver the marketing and business development strategy for the capital markets function.
  • Take the lead on the client relationship plans for the capital markets team, working with key stakeholders to maintain existing relationships for the firms core clients, whilst also providing strategic insight on potential new clients and cross selling potential.
  • Ensure that you provide mentorship and leadership guidance to the existing business development professionals that will report into you, setting examples of best practice
  • Work with the central brand and communications team to enhance the firms overall positioning in the market and work with specific partner groups on profile raising too.
  • Keep up to date on market trend and competitor analysis for the capital markets group, ensuring your are advising the partners on these matters.

We would welcome the engagement of Legal BD professionals either at AD level currently or those at Senior Manager who have a good understanding of the capital markets space and are enthusiastic to take on an exciting role with a leading Am law firm.
