Associate Business Development Director - New York or DC

We are working with a leading global law firm to hire an experienced Litigation marketing professional to join the firm as an Associate Director within their US BD function. We are seeking to engage current Associate Director's or those at Senior Manager level excited to take the step up to AD level.

Alongside the litigation director and working within an established team you will provide strategic support to the litigation practice, working with the firms leadership team and driving forward the marketing & BD indicatives for the Litigation lawyers.

Please see below some of the core duties;

• Create and develop a comprehensive marketing plan, working with practice leaders to plan and implement this plan.
• Working with leaders across the US offices to enhance the firms brand a reputation on a local and national level. You will also work with international counterparts on global campaigns and projects for the litigation team.
• Along with the marketing and business development planning, you will also play a key part in the client development and relationship work for the function, advising on existing relations and also keeping aware of market trends for potential new opportunities.
• In tandem with the Communications team, come up with thought leadership ideas and content, for the litigation group and individual partners.
• Take an active part in the BD leadership team, when it comes to firmwide planning and also nurturing and developing junior talent within the firm.
