Business Development Director - Litigation
Job description
We are delighted to be partnering with a leading global law firm to help recruit an experienced litigation business development professional at either Director or Associate Director level, we also have the flexibility to consider individuals based in DC or New York.
This role will be the lead BD professional for their litigation function working directly the firms c-suite and lead partners, managing a team and will also contribute to the overall vision for enhancing the firm's client relationship and development work to enhance and deliver on growth targets.
Core responsibilities included within the role include:
- Take the lead on the client development plans for the litigation group, working with the partners to develop and execute growth strategies and provide ongoing 1:1 support to the fee earners on client coverage coordination and encouraging cross selling activities amongst the function.
- Utilizing internal marketing and client intelligence teams, ensure that you are keeping track of the market and informing the partnership on potential new business opportunities for the firm, within both existing and new clients.
- Put together comprehensive business development and marketing plans for the group, effectively managing your team to deliver a variety of projects, campaigns and initiatives.
- Work with the internal events and communications teams on driving engagement for litigation focused events program & thought leadership content. In order to continue elevating and enhancing the firm's brand in targeted markets.
- Provide supportive people management to the existing team, taking a keen interest in their professional development and continue to build a high performing litigation marketing function.
