Business Development Manager
Job description
We are excited to be supporting one of our long standing legal clients on an important hire for a BDM to focus upon the Regulatory space in their Washington DC office. The role will report into an experienced Senior Manager, offering an opportunity for someone to really hone and develop their managerial skills, helping the Senior Manager to lead the practice and being a mentor to two more junior colleagues in the DC office aligned to the Regulatory group too.
The firm are keen to engage individuals who are either experienced Specialists/Senior Specialists looking for the their first management role, or individuals who are currently managers but are excited by the idea of moving into a global role and team.
Duties involved in the position include;
- with the Senior Business Development Manager to advise and be proactive on the client relationship piece, looking at cross selling initiatives within the firms existing client base and ensuring the firms leadership team are kept up to date on market trends to enhance the firms offering within the Regulatory area.
- the lead on working across the proposal space for tenders specific to the regulatory area, you will be able to utilise other team members in terms of coordination and putting these together as and when the business need occurs.
- the central PR and Digital Marketing colleagues on a variety of brand awareness projects, to increase the visibility of the firm in targeted markets. This will include North American projects and global projects working with colleagues across EMEA.
- the events team, be involved in the coordinator and delivery of the events programme for the Regulatory sector, providing analysis on ROI of each event.
We would really like to engage individuals operating across the Legal BD & Marketing space for this role, a previous experience covering the Regulatory arena would be advantageous but not essential to be considered for the role.
