We are tremendously excited to be partnering with one of the leading law firms in the US on their search to add a talented Business Development Manager to their growing team!
In this position, you will own the Marketing/ BD function and will round out the leadership team in the firms Washington D.C. office. The preferred candidate will serve as the go-to marketing resource where you will execute and develop client strategy, while managing marketing initiatives within the Regulatory, Litigation and Transactional practice areas. We believe this provides an excellent opportunity for someone with some management experience to further their growth as a leader, while taking a larger role in the strategic planning and approach for each client. Additionally, this provides the preferred candidate the chance to oversee the firm's signature programs and initiatives, which are aimed to strengthen the firms profile and brand awareness in the market.
We would love to engage with professionals that have previous management experience in a Business Development function within a Law Firm. Beyond that, this person must be enthusiastic about the opportunity and must lead by example for junior staff members.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Leverage local knowledge and understanding of the market to provide high-class and catered marketing solutions to individual clients, you will also be tasked with evaluating current solutions to identify any gaps or areas for improvement
  • Work strategically with senior leadership to plan, develop and execute marketing strategies, programs, budgets and initiatives to suit individual clients needs
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the firm's CRM systems, ensuring data is of the highest quality and is being used appropriately in decision making
  • Identify areas of involvement for senior leadership and lawyers that can increase personal and professional brand awareness in the market
  • Liaise with the Communications team to curate website and practice specific content while working in conjunction with the Events team to plan and execute internal and external events and sponsorships.
  • Participating in the ongoing growth and development of current junior staff members, you will also be tasked with identifying prospective hires for the marketing team
