Business Development Manager

We're partnering with a market-leading, global law firm in its search for a Business Development Manager to support its Structured Credit, Restructuring, Capital Markets and Fund Finance practices. In this position, you will play a strategic role in driving growth initiatives for one of the firm's most prominent finance groups, working closely with partners across the globe as well as colleagues in Business Development, Marketing, and Competitive Intelligence.

We would love to speak with individuals who bring strong business development and marketing experience from a law firm or professional services environment. Prior exposure to finance, restructuring, capital markets, or related transactional practices would be highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute business development strategies for the Private Credit and Leveraged Finance practice in alignment with firmwide priorities.
• Partner directly with practice leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and support cross-selling initiatives across practices and industries.
• Oversee the preparation of high-quality pitches, RFP responses, and presentations, ensuring messaging is tailored and commercially compelling.
• Work closely with Competitive Intelligence and Marketing teams to monitor market trends, client activity, and competitor developments.
• Support individual partner business development plans and assist with lateral partner integration.
• Manage and support client-facing events, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives, tracking impact and ROI.
