Business Development Manager - Firmwide corporate projects

We have partnered with a leading US headquartered firm to recruit a really exciting role, working across their corporate practice group with the BD Director on a project basis. This opportunity is really unique to the market as it won't be focused on a standalone practice, but will work on firmwide projects across the corporate group, focusing on areas such as; Private Equity, M&A, Restructuring and funds.

Given the rarity of roles like this in the market, we would be very keen to speak with individuals who are working in a corporate BDM position who would be excited by working in more of a project management capacity.

• New York
• Chicago
• Atlanta
• Texas

Core duties included within the role are:

• Work with the BD Director to coach fee earners and partners on the client development and relationships relevant to the corporate practice, working to enhance and develop these clients, whilst also keeping ontop of market trends to advise the firm on potential new clients.
• Take the lead on specific marketing and business development projects that affect the corporate group, working with the individual BD Managers and central functions to deliver an array of marketing and business development activities.
• Alongside the BD Director ensure that best practice is followed across the corporate department, in each of the US office locations.
• Be proactive in coming up with ideas that can impact the corporate team across the business, being responsible for implementing new practices and new techniques and technologies to improve efficiency for the corporate group.
• Work with the individual practice BD Managers on work relevant to their group, there will also be collaboration with the Intl team too.
