Business Development Manager - International Arbitration

Job description

We are delighted to be working with one our longstanding global legal clients to help recruit a Marketing & Business Development Manager in a really exciting role covering International Arbitration, this role also has a unique dynamic in terms of working on tailored projects specific to the New York office. We would love to engage individuals who have experience within the Legal Marketing world and have had exposure to the Arbitration and/or the Litigation/Regulatory sector.

Given the variety involved in the role we think this should be an attractive opportunity in the market, we know the firm and culture of the business indepth and would welcome the opportunity to discuss with individuals operating at management level or looking to take their first management role, hence the wide salary range given for the position.



Core responsibilities that are included within the role;

  • Take the lead on the strategy development for the practice group, this will involve you leading on market research & client and market trends for the group ensuring that the firm is up to date and positioned in the most effective manner within the market.
  • Be responsible for managing the BD budgets and developing and implementing the practice business plans.
  • Working with wider colleagues within the Marketing & Brand team, to coordinate and deliver compelling marketing campaigns and projects to target audiences relative to the New York office across a variety of sectors.
  • Together with the global PR team, be involved with profile raising initiatives for the firm more broadly alongside more target profile raising for specific groups of attorneys.
  • Be involved with the client relationship and development aspect of high value existing clients within the group, working with the fee earners on ensuring 'best in class' service levels are received by this client group.
