Business Development Manager (Litigation)

Job description

We're thrilled to have partnered with a global Am Law top 25 firm in its search for a Business Development Manager to support its Litigation group. In this position, based in New York, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic goals of the firm's U.S. Litigation practice, working closely alongside senior leadership, attorneys, and other members of the Global Business Development (BD) team.

We would love to speak with individuals with Business Development and Marketing experience within a law firm or professional services firm. Prior experience supporting Litigation and/or Regulatory groups would make for the ideal candidate.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create and tailor pitches, RFP responses, and practice group credentials to align with specific opportunities, managing the full lifecycle from initial concept to final delivery to effectively highlight the group's expertise.
  • Monitor and analyze current and potential clients, competitor strategies, and broader industry or market developments on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with senior business development colleagues and practice leaders on both global and local cross-selling and client targeting initiatives, including efforts tied to the firm's key client program.
  • Support the Senior Litigation Business Development Manager in maintaining and tracking progress against the practice's strategic business plans.
  • Partner with the Competitive Intelligence team to research clients, competitors, and market trends, providing insights to inform business development strategies.
