Business Development Manager - Middle East & Africa

Job description

I'm thrilled to be partnering with one of the most prestigious law firms in the world on their search for a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

In this position, you will play an integral role in developing and executing strategies to drive new business between the U.S. and the Middle East, and the U.S. and Africa. You'll work closely with firm leadership, regional and practice group heads, and sector teams-an incredible opportunity to shape global BD strategy and build influential relationships across jurisdictions. This is a critical role within the firm's Marketing and Business Development function, created to strengthen strategic growth initiatives across key global markets.

I would be interested in speaking with Legal BD professionals with at least 5 years of experience within an AmLaw 100 firm. Beyond that, this person must have a passion for and focus on some form of a Transactional sub-group throughout their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Practice Group leaders with executing business development and marketing plans, while tracking progress to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global business environments and market dynamics-particularly in the Middle East and Africa-combined with the ability to analyze data and synthesize insights from multiple sources to deliver actionable solutions and recommendations.
  • Utilize CRM systems and analytics tools to support lead generation, monitor campaign performance, and identify areas for business growth.
  • Play a key role in developing pitches, proposals, and submissions for directories and awards to enhance the practice group's visibility and competitiveness.

I feel the salary banding is highly competitive in the market, however, if you're looking for something above this range, I'm open to discussing that further.
