Business Development Manager - Private Equity
Job description
I'm thrilled to be representing one of the top law firms in the US on their search to add a Business Development Manager to their growing Private Equity practice!
In this position, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development to support and drive strategic growth initiatives, client development and market positioning for this growing area for the firm. The preferred candidate will serve as the go-to liaison and will develop and execute client strategy, while managing marketing initiatives for the Private Equity practice area. We believe this provides an excellent opportunity for someone with some management experience to further their growth as a leader, while taking a larger role in the strategic planning and approach for key accounts and clients.
I'd love to speak with professionals with 6+ years of experience in a Business Development function at a Law Firm, preferably with a focus on Private Equity. Beyond that, this person must be enthusiastic about the opportunity and must lead by example for junior staff members.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with practice groups to implement client development projects and initiatives to support new business development goals.
- Leverage the firm's experience and industry knowledge, in accordance with department-wide best practices, to develop pitches and presentations that are responsive to companies' specific needs.
- Use experience to offer strategic advice and options to lawyers preparing to approach potential clients and in looking to expand relationships.
- Manage the Private Equity Department's archiving of business development activities and experience.
