Business Development Manager (Tax)

I'm working exclusively with one of the most recognizable global law firms on their hunt to add a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to their growing team.

In this position, you will work closely with senior members of the BD team to support key initiatives, drive growth and further expand the firm's reputation in the Tax, Pension and Employment practice area. You will be working directly with the practices Senior Manager, which I believe affords an excellent platform for the right candidate to further develop their leadership and high-level strategic experience. Beyond that, this provides an excellent opportunity to develop cross-selling and key client support experience from both global and domestic standpoints.

I'd love to speak with Legal BD professionals with experience in the Tax, Pension or Employment practice areas, with at least 6 years of Law Firm BD experience overall. In addition, being an enthusiastic team player, who is looking to contribute and take part in a top-class culture, is a must as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the development and execution of business development and marketing plans aligned with firmwide strategy, including tracking ROI and refining approaches.
• Drives business development for the Americas Tax Pension Employment practice by shaping offerings, identifying market opportunities, and contributing to pitches and capability statements.
• Collaborates with internal teams to raise the profile of the Americas Tax Pension & Employment practice through events, PR, awards submissions, and thought leadership.
• Applies deep product knowledge to support client and sector programs, while conducting competitive and market analysis to uncover new opportunities.
• Partners with the Global Tax Pensions & Employment BD Senior Manager to implement strategic BD projects and align activities with the new BD Operating Model and technology roadmap.
