Business Development Manager- Tax

We are proud to be supporting the leading Am Law Top 20 firm in their search for a talented Business Development Manager for their Tax team.

This pivotal position sits within the firm's global marketing and business development function and offers the opportunity to work closely with practice leaders, partners, the C-suite, and senior leadership to elevate the visibility and reputation of the Tax group.

In this role, the Business Development Manager will work closely with key stakeholders across the firm to advance client initiatives, support strategic campaigns, and elevate the profile of the Tax practice. A core part of the position involves developing and executing effective client relationship plans that both strengthen existing connections and create new business opportunities.

Core duties included within the role:

  • Partner with practice group and subgroup leaders to execute business development and marketing priorities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the practice group's strengths to support high-quality client-facing materials and positioning.
  • Coordinate and support go-to-market initiatives, including client targeting, campaign execution, and promotional activities, in collaboration with senior team members and communications partners.
  • Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools to manage pipelines, track activity, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Support pitches, proposals, directory submissions, awards content, and key client-facing events while contributing to cohesive, cross-functional marketing efforts across the firm.
