Business Development Projects & Systems Manager

The Litigation Business Development Projects and Systems Manager for this Amlaw Top 20 firm enhances the firm's litigation BD operations by improving processes, strengthening systems, and ensuring consistency across workflows, data, and deliverables.

This individual needs to be located in New York, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, or Los Angeles but operates on a very limited in office policy.

This role builds and maintains the infrastructure-dashboards, workflows, and technology solutions-that supports disputes lawyers and litigation BD teams and improves overall efficiency.

The Manager collaborates closely with litigation BD leadership, practice management, technology, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and effective use of BD platforms. The role also oversees team members responsible for data integrity, tracking systems, analytics, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, improvement, and standardization of litigation BD workflows, tools, templates, and systems.
• Oversee data quality, dashboards, reporting, and analytics to deliver accurate, actionable insights.
• Manage cross‑functional BD projects and coordinate with internal teams to align operations with firm priorities.
• Introduce and maintain new technologies-including AI-to streamline processes and enhance BD output.
• Supervise and develop team members responsible for BD data, tracking systems, and analytics.
• Advise litigation BD leadership and lawyers on best practices, tools, and operational improvements.
