This Amlaw top 20 firm is looking for a Business Development Specialist (based in New York) to drive business development and visibility initiatives for the Bankruptcy, Finance, Derivatives, and Private Credit practices.
The Specialist will help develop and maintain core marketing materials for these transactional practices, including bespoke pitch documents, standardized decks, deal lists, matter descriptions, and related collateral. Working closely with the manager and broader team, this role will also contribute to visibility and client‑focused initiatives such as conferences, sponsorships, and client events. Additional support for other transactional practices may be assigned.
This position reports to the Manager of Business Development, also based in New York.
Responsibilities
* Support business development and marketing efforts for assigned practices and assist with partner‑level objectives.
* Contribute to matter collection and league table submissions.
* Assist with directory and industry award submissions.
* Develop and maintain collateral, including customized pitches, pitch decks, deal lists, and matter descriptions.
* Support visibility initiatives such as conferences, sponsorships, associations, and speaking opportunities.
* Assist with client relationship activities, including events, relationship reviews, and opportunity identification.
* Partner with CRM, Market Intelligence, and Directories teams to ensure accurate client data and high‑quality deliverables.
