Head of Events & Sponsorship

Job description

We are excited to be working with a global law firm to bring in a Head of Events and sponsorship to be part of the global events team based here in New York. This role will be the lead US events professional and work in a strategic capacity in tandem with the firm's leadership team based in North America and globally.



This position will play a key part in continuing to strengthen the firm's brand and reputation in core markets, working with fee earners and marketing professionals across a variety of practices and sectors.



Core responsibilities include:

  • Take the lead of developing and creating a market leading events program for the US business, that helps supports the firm's overall business objectives. You will be responsible for monitoring and accessing ROI on these events, in order to provide strategic feedback to the firm and help to continuously improve the program.
  • Be excited to take on managing a team of events professionals, helping them to continue their professional development and progression amongst the firm.
  • Effectively manage the events budget, ensuring that it's effectively deployed across the firm in order to maximise the effectiveness of each event.
  • Identify potential sponsorship opportunities for the firm that align with the firms goals, take the lead in negotiating the commercials aspects of these partnerships.



We would encourage applications from events professionals within the legal sector and also wider professional's services, experience of operating within a global environment would also be highly advantageous. We are open to individuals operating in a "Head of capacity" currently or those seeking to step up from management/senior management level.
