Senior Business Development Manager

I'm very excited to be working alongside one of the most prestigious global law firms on their search to add a Senior Business Development Manager to their Capital Markets and Finance practice!

In this position, you will work closely with Head of the practice to support and drive strategic growth initiatives, client development and market positioning specifically within Capital Markets and Finance. The preferred candidate will serve as the go-to liaison and will develop and execute client strategy, while managing marketing initiatives for the practice area. I feel this provides an excellent opportunity for someone with some management experience to further their growth as a leader, while taking a larger role in the strategic planning and approach for key accounts and clients.

I'd love to speak with professionals that have 7+ years of Legal Business Development experience, preferably within a Capital Markets and Finance practice area. Beyond that, this person must be enthusiastic about the opportunity and must lead by example for junior staff members.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead growth initiatives within Capital Markets and Finance by shaping and supporting the creation and execution of business development plans.
  • Ensure practice and client targeting strategies are aligned with global business development priorities and the firm's overarching objectives.
  • Build strong connections across global BD teams and the Business Development & Marketing (BDM) function to keep the local office integrated with global strategies, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Strengthen relationships with Client & Sector BD teams to drive growth in priority sectors and markets, and create impactful, Capital Markets and Finance-focused go-to-market campaigns to engage key clients.

I feel the salary banding is highly competitive in the market, however, if you're looking for something above this range, I'm open to discussing that further.
