Senior Business Development Manager

I'm thrilled to announce that I'm representing a top global law firm on their search for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their growing Litigation practice.

Your role will be to work alongside other key Senior leaders within the Ligation department to lead the development and execution of Business Development strategies that the growth of the overall practice. You'll ensure these strategies align with the Firm's overall goals, as well as client and sector priorities. Using strong product knowledge and data-driven insights, you'll identify opportunities, encourage cross-selling across practices, and help shape BD efforts that drive profitable revenue growth. This is a newly created position due to the growth and expansion of the firm's prowess in Litigation.

I'd love to engage with professionals that have a depth of experience within Legal Business Development, preferably within the Litigation, IP or Arbitration or practice areas. Beyond that, this person must be a team player, with an aim to grow and learn within this practice area.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop BD strategies for the Litigation practice that align with the Firm's global growth goals and overall strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders to support strategic goals and ensure consistent communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee BD initiatives, making sure they align with practice and Firm objectives, while tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Use product, market, and client insights to guide BD strategy, relying on data to spot opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Create and execute targeted growth plans for products, sectors, and clients, encouraging cross-selling with global teams and tailoring efforts to market needs.
