Associate Director - M&A and Private Equity

Ambition are excited to be supporting a global law firm with the recruitment for a new Associate Director position in their New York office to lead on their America's M&A and Private Equity strategy. You will be working very closely with lead partners based in New York and the Global Business Development Director.

Along with leading the business development and marketing strategy for the group, you will also be responsible for managing and leading a team based in the New York office. We are very excited to be partnering with this firm who have some very exciting plans for their US business generally and this role will be a key part of delivering the long term strategic vision.

Please see below some of the core duties;

  • Working with the Global Director and US leadership to drive forward the marketing and business development approach and strategy for the M&A and Private Equity areas.
  • Be the primary point of contact for driving forward marketing campaigns and client relationship initiatives fort he US group, you will also play a key part in developing the global strategy for the firm alongside key stakeholders and colleagues in EMEA.
  • Enjoy developing and coaching the existing team based in New York, playing an active role in their professional development and continued progression within the firm.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to collaborate with senior leadership in the New York to help raise the profile for the firm and reputation in the M&A and Private Equity markets.
