Business Development Manager - Capital Markets

Job description

We are working with a leading New York law firm to recruit a BD Manager working within their exciting and innovative Capital markets practice. The firm are looking to bring someone in to work alongside the Senior Manager also based in the New York office, you will therefore get loads of professional support to aid your continued development and have a clear pathway to move forward towards managerial level over the mid-short term too.

Having previous corporate practice experience from within a law would be highly advantageous but not essential, we would be very happy to engage individuals operating in different practice/sector groups who would like to make the transition into focusing upon the capital markets area.

Duties included within the role;

  • Working alongside the existing team to implement the Marketing & Business Development plan for the Capital markets group, working on specific group wide campaigns and with individual attorneys.
  • Play a part in developing thought leadership content to help continue raise the firms brand awareness in the capital markets space, looking at specific tailored markets and clients.
  • Be involved with the client relationship and development aspect of business development for the technology group, focusing upon the firms key existing client base.
  • Working with the central functions on other Marketing & Business Development initiatives, this will include proposal work and events planning specific for the capital markets team
