Business Development Manager - Energy
Job description
We are excited to be working on a new role with a leading US law firm to operate across their Energy group which will have a focus on ESG, working with an impressive group of attorneys who are market leaders in this space, giving you a platform to work in tandem with the groups leadership team on a variety of Marketing & Business Development initiatives.
The role will have a global feel due to the nature of the firms clients involved, which should keep the role diverse, it will also report into the firms overall BD Director, giving you loads of scope to play a strategic role in the firm and potential to continue growing the team and further developing your Legal Marketing management career.
We would love to engage individuals who are passionate around the Energy space, previous experience within this practice from another law firm would be a positive however we are open to individuals transitioning across from other transactional practice/sector groups.
Duties will include;
- Work with the key relationship partners for the Energy group, on putting together a comprehensive client relationship and development plan. Ensuring that the firm is providing best in class client services to existing clients, whilst also being aware of market trends that could lead to cross selling opportunities for the firm.
- Be the lead contact for the Energy group, advising and planning tailored marketing campaigns for the firm, to continue to raise the brands profile in specific targeted markets.
- You will be responsible for responding and putting together compelling RFP and bid documents for the group, these will vary in tender size and also be a mix of new business and existing clients.
- Take ownership of managing and planning the implementation of the marketing budget for the team.
- Take a proactive approach in mentoring and managing junior members of the team.
- Plan an events program for the team, ensuring this is looked at with ROI in mind.
