Business Development Manager - Global Disputes

Job description

We are delighted to partner with a global law firm to bring in a BDM to work across their global disputes & litigation area, operating as part of a truly global function working with an impressive BD Director, giving you a perfect opportunity to continue your management and Legal BD career. The role will allow you to play a strategic part of the firms global plans for the Disputes sector, working with the BD Director and key stakeholders based in North America and the EMEA region.

Responsibilities included in the role

  • Working with the BD Director to shape and implement the global disputes marketing plan, this will include working on budgets and ensuring delivery of key marketing initiatives throughout the year are actioned upon. This will include working across the North American and EMEA markets.
  • Support the firms client targeting and relationship programme working with colleagues across the globe. This will include existing client relationships and specific targeted campaigns in order to position the firms as a class leading option for potential new business.
  • Be involved in working with central functions for Marketing campaign content and delivery, including tailored projects and initiatives plus thought leadership pieces.
  • Advising on high value pitch and bid content relating to the Disputes sector, you will also be involved in working with the central events team on specific firmwide events programme.
  • Opportunity to be involved in mentoring more junior members of staff, with the opportunity to take on people management in time.
