Business Development Manager - Latin America

I'm thrilled to announce that I'm working exclusively with one of the premier global law firms on their hunt to add a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to their growing Latin American team.

In this position, you will work closely with the senior leaders of the Business Development team to drive client growth through different key initiatives, aiming to expand the firm's reputation in the Latin American region. You will be working directly with the team's Senior Manager, which I believe affords an excellent platform for the right candidate to further develop their leadership and high-level strategic experience. Beyond that, this provides an excellent opportunity to develop cross-selling and key client support experience from a global standpoint.

I'd love to speak with Legal BD professionals with experience supporting a Latin American practice area, with at least 6 years of Law Firm BD experience overall. In addition, having comfort speaking or being fluent in Spanish, is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote collaboration across teams by aligning the Latin America group with global sector and strategic client teams to identify and develop priority clients and prospects.
  • Strengthen client engagement in Latin America through more structured outreach, increased visibility of client meetings, and better coordination to support cross-selling opportunities.
  • Use market insights and intelligence-including input from the Client Insight & Business Intelligence Team and sector leads-to inform strategic decisions and drive growth in Latin American markets.
  • Support team readiness for Latin America-focused opportunities by ensuring lawyers are well-prepared for key business development and relationship meetings with clients and prospects.

I feel the salary banding is highly competitive in the market, however, if you're looking for something above this range, I'm open to discussing that further.
