Business Development Manager - Regulatory
Job description
A globally recognized law firm is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to support its Regulatory and Investigations Practices. This is a high-visibility role for a professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and collaboration.
As a key member of the firm's global Marketing and Business Development team, you will work closely with senior leadership to shape and implement initiatives that drive growth, enhance client engagement, and strengthen the firm's market position. You'll lead cross-practice projects, support go-to-market strategies and manage a range of activities-from pitches and proposals to events, sponsorships, and internal process improvements.
This role requires a proactive and adaptable mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll also play a central role in leveraging business intelligence tools and systems to support data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and special projects that support the Regulatory and Investigations Practices.
- Lead change management strategies and oversee data tracking to increase attorney engagement with internal systems like Foundation, the firm's experience management platform.
- Conduct market and client research to identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities that inform strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage business development events-including webinars, receptions, and client engagements-handling logistics, communications, and post-event follow-up.
- Support process improvement efforts across BD systems including CRM and the firm's website, while maintaining documentation for training and knowledge sharing.
