Business Development Manager - Technology

We are working with an international law firm to help recruit a Business Development Manager to join their Marketing function to focus on the exciting and innovative Technology sector. The role will operate across the North American region, but will also form part of a global marketing team focused on the Technology space, keeping the role exciting and diverse.

We would really like to discuss this position with individuals who have prior exposure to the tech sector from a current or previous Legal Marketing position. Given the structure of the team we are open to the idea of someone stepping into their first management position or current managers who are excited by the idea of moving into a global role.

Some of the duties included within the Business Development Manager role are;

  • Work as a strategic advisor to the firm's Partners and lawyers to build and put in practice the America's Marketing & BD strategy for the firm, this will encompass working across all aspects of the Tech sector, including; AI, Fintech, Energy tech plus more sectors. Making the client base highly diverse.

  • Help to be part of and lead on key clients accounts, this will include ensuring the firm is best positioned to give best in class service levels, whilst also being able to evaluate existing clients for cross selling opportunities amongst the firm.

  • Work with the key stakeholders within the Tech practice to come up with innovative ideas to help raise individual profiles and the group within specific targeted markets and audiences.

  • Collaborate with the firm's internal communications team, to help put together an effective PR and Brand strategy, this will work on an America's and global basis too.

  • In tandem with colleagues across the EMEA region, work on global marketing campaigns and projects.

This is a really exciting role for someone who is passionate and excited about the Technology sector and has prior experience operating within the Legal Marketing sector. The role will also be offered on a hybrid working basis of 3 days office and 2 days flexible working.

We could have some flexibility on the salary, dependent on experience so if your salary expectations are slightly higher than the advertised level I'd still welcome the chance to discuss.
