Business Development Specialist

I am delighted to be working with a leading US firm to bring in a Business Development Specialist, in their global group, operating across many cities in the US and in the EMEA region.

The salary range is based on experience from $95,000 - $135,000 including an extensive benefits package, working in New York on a hybrid working pattern.


The role will report into the Senior Buisiness Development & Marketing Manager, giving me the opportunity to engage individuals currently at the Specialist level, but also Coordinators looking to move up. The firm has an excellent background in developing their employee's, whilst also giving a defined pathway towards the BDM level.

The Role:

  • Serve as lead project manager for sector specific pitches and proposals, being involved in the whole process from start to finish. This will also include post pitch debriefs to ensure the continuation in delivering high quality pitches within the market.
  • Work with the firms practice leads and your Senior BDM to develop and implement effective client development and relationship plans, tailored to each individual client and their needs.
  • Collaborate with the firms market intelligence team to track sector related news and specific market trends to ensure the firm is reacting to market news and is positioned in the best place possible.
  • Work with the wider Communications and Events team, being involved in specific projects and campaigns to raise the firms brand and awareness within the market. This will include large firmwide scale initiatives alongside working on much more tailored projects with smaller partner groups.
