Business Development Supervisor

Job description

I'm thrilled to be representing a globally recognized law firm who is looking to add a talented and experienced Business Development Supervisor to support its Financial Services practice. This is a high-visibility role for a professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and collaboration.

As a key member of the firm's global Marketing and Business Development team, you will work closely with senior leadership to shape and implement initiatives that drive growth, enhance client engagement, and strengthen the firm's market position. Being this is a sector-focused role, you'll be exposed to a range of approaches firmwide, which will help develop key parts of your skillset, to prepare you for the future. This role requires a proactive and adaptable mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

I'd love to engage with professionals that have a depth of experience within Legal Business Development, preferably within the Financial Services sector. Beyond that, this person must be a team player, with an aim to grow and learn within this practice area.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Business Development and cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and special projects that support the Financial Services sector team
  • Conduct market and client research to identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate and manage business development events-including webinars, receptions, and client engagements-handling logistics, communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support process improvement efforts across BD systems including CRM and the firm's website, while maintaining documentation for training and knowledge sharing.

I feel the current salary range is competitive within the market, however, if you are looking for something above this range, I'm open to discussing it further.
