Global Associate Business Development Director - Corporate

Ambition are partnering with an international law firm to recruit an Associate BD Director for their corporate and finance team, you will be working across area's that include M&A, capital markets and private equity.

You will have the support and people management responsibilities of a BD team based in the US and work with counterparts based in Europe too, ensuring the role has a truly global feel.

As the role will work directly with the Global BD Director for Corporate, we would encourage those at Senior BDM level within a law firm who are seeking their first Director role to apply, alongside current Associate Directors who would feel excited to take on a global leadership role.

Core duties will include;

• In tandem with the Global Director, put together comprehensive business development and marketing plans for the corporate and finance team across a variety of areas within the sector group.
• Work effectively with the firm's leadership team on the client relationship and development piece, creating framework to deliver best in class client relationship practices, some of these with be specific to the North American market and others will be global relationships.
• Work with the practice group leaders of the firm, to set and deliver the budgets for the BD activity, working with the central business functions to monitor ROI.
• Be a pivotal part for the firms marketing and business development leadership team, being involved in firmwide decision making to enhance the effectiveness of the marketing function.
• Take an active role in mentoring and helping to develop the BD team under your management, helping to continue their professional development.
