Senior Business Development Manager

Job description

I am exclusively representing a top global law firm on their search for a Senior Business Development Manager for their growing Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations (LAI) team.

Your role will be to lead the development and execution of Business Development (BD) strategies that support growth in the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations (LAI) practice. You'll ensure these strategies align with the Firm's overall goals, as well as client and sector priorities. Using strong product knowledge and data-driven insights, you'll identify opportunities, encourage cross-selling across practices, and help shape BD efforts that drive profitable revenue growth.

I'd love to engage with professionals that have a depth of experience within Legal Business Development, preferably within the Litigation, Arbitration or Investigations practice areas. Beyond that, this person must be a team player, with an aim to grow and learn within this practice area.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop BD strategies for the LAI practice that align with the Firm's global growth goals and overall strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders to support strategic goals and ensure consistent communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee BD initiatives, making sure they align with practice and Firm objectives, while tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Use product, market, and client insights to guide BD strategy, relying on data to spot opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Create and execute targeted growth plans for products, sectors, and clients, encouraging cross-selling with global teams and tailoring efforts to market needs.
